What lawn and garden work costs in Auckland
Published starting prices, because being told to 'get in touch for a quote' when you just want a ballpark is annoying. These are honest ranges — your actual quote is fixed in writing before we start.

Frequency
Why regular works out cheaper
Weekly
Oct – Apr
The growing season standard for kikuyu and couch lawns. Grass never gets away, one pass does it, and the lawn stays thick enough to keep weeds out on its own.
Best for: front lawns that need to look sharp, rentals, properties for sale.
Fortnightly
Year-round
The most popular option and the best value for most Auckland households. We tighten to weekly through the October–November growth surge if the lawn needs it.
Best for: most family homes.
One-off
Any time
Rescue cuts, pre-sale tidy-ups, end-of-tenancy work. Long grass needs two passes and produces far more waste, so we quote it on site once we've seen the section.
Best for: getting an overgrown section back under control.
Pricing questions
Are your prices GST inclusive?
All prices shown are GST inclusive. Your quote and invoice will show the GST component separately if you need it for business or rental property accounting.
Do you charge a callout fee or travel surcharge?
No. Every suburb we serve sits on a scheduled run day, so travel is shared across the whole day rather than charged to one job. That applies to outer areas like Beachlands and Whitford too.
Why is a one-off cut more expensive than a regular one?
Because it's more work. A lawn on a fortnightly run takes one pass and produces little waste. The same lawn left six weeks needs two passes, produces several times the clippings, and takes roughly double the time. Regular service almost always costs less per month.
Is green waste removal extra?
No, it's included in every quoted price. Clippings, prunings and hedge trimmings leave with us. We don't fill your bins and we don't charge per bag.
How do I pay, and when?
We invoice by email — one-off jobs after completion, regular clients monthly in arrears. Payment is by bank transfer or card. There's no deposit for standard residential work.
Do prices change through the year?
The per-visit price stays the same. What changes is frequency — we move regular clients from weekly or fortnightly in the growing season to three or four weekly over winter, so your monthly spend drops when the lawn isn't growing.
