This policy explains how Greensward NZ Limited (“we”, “us”) collects and handles personal information, in line with the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand).
What we collect
- Your name, phone number and email address when you request a quote or contact us.
- The property address or suburb, so we can quote and schedule the work.
- Details you choose to tell us about the job, including any photos you send.
- Basic, aggregated website analytics — pages viewed and general location — which do not identify you personally.
Why we collect it
Solely to quote your job, schedule and carry out the work, invoice you, and stay in touch about services you have asked for. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not pass it to third parties for marketing.
Who we share it with
Only where it is necessary to deliver the service — for example an email provider that transmits your enquiry to us, or an accounting system that issues your invoice. Where a job requires a specialist subcontractor (arborist, electrician, engineer), we will tell you before sharing your contact details with them.
How long we keep it
Quote enquiries that do not proceed are deleted within twelve months. Records for completed work are retained for seven years, as required for New Zealand tax purposes.
Photos of your property
We sometimes take before-and-after photos as a record of work completed. We will not publish a photo of your property on our website or social media without asking you first, and identifying details such as house numbers are excluded where we do.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Any analytics we run are aggregate-only and are not used to build a profile of you.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email admin@greensward.co.nz or call 022 674 4748 and we will respond within 20 working days.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, contact us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version always appears on this page.
